When I bought my son a drz400, the seller was ASKING 1900, but I got it for 1600 Nov 2019
2004 DRZ 400E with K3 carb
POU: Sold klr650 because my fav riding is AF canyon and I wanted my son to join me.
Tusk dual sport tires front and back, the tires it came with were cracking…this was one of the first things we upgraded.
Lever guards (within the first 72 hours of ownership). We bought this bike, that night we drove to st george to ride with Everide. Next morning I checked coolant (low) and oil and some other basics to get ready to ride on the rally!
Street legal kit, drz400e is not street legal from factory, so previous owner had street legal kit, but needed a lot of work to fix electrical issues. Previous owner claims mechanic charged him 1100 to fix oil leak and to get it to start (carb rebuild)–which I don’t believe.
Fix electrical, this drz400e 2004 came with tons of electrical problems for lights, signals and brake lights. In hindsight, I should have started over with a tusk street kit and saved myself 10-20 hours.
