This one threw me for a loop, so I wanted to document how to install tusk handguards for a Honda Africa twin.
There are install videos that show bending the tusk bar in a vice (great advice).
My issue was that I could not get the expansion bolt into the handlebar because something was in the way. Turns out its a anti-vibration brass rod that can be easily removed with needle nose pliers.
Then the install is easy. I ordered the

The africa twin handle bar is 1 1/8 or there abouts. I need longer bolts, which I will buy for the handlebar clamp (Ace hardware).
