It was such a joy to build a Foxy Tuck Holster (IWB) for an XDM 10mm.
Likely my all time favorite pistol…ever! Top three favs is .357 sig p320.

I went with the larger leather backer because this customer wanted TWO shells. One shell for a weapon mounted light and another shell for no-weapon mounted light(as pictured below).

He is mailing me his light so I can mold it perfectly and get it tuned for conceal carry.

I took some photos as I built this holster. I think you will enjoy these pictures.

Here is TWO shells, one for non-weapon mounted light and one with weapon mounted light.

sight-groove is CRITICAL! I use chop sticks and painters tape 🙂

Years ago I made this cool home-made vacuum press that I use my shop vac on.

Toaster oven at about 350 degrees, until the kydex is like wet-cardboard.

Now the master’s touch to cut in the right spot.

Note leather edge is burnished to perfection.

another master’s touch is mounting the shell onto the leather backer in the exact right spot.

One Response to Foxy Tuck Inside Waistband Holster(IWB) – XDM 10mm

  1. Marshal Rehders says:

I finally chose the right gun for my defense and protection while guiding and hunting in Colorado and Wyoming as a bowhunter…Springfield Armory XDM-10, 4.5. I will also open carry this firearm! I need a holster that will have a clip as thin as one inch and cups a band width of one inch to two inch. I want to attach to my backpak holster band and my personal belt.
